High Road Ice Cream Pints

We’re driven by flavor, there’s no denying that. If we had our druthers, we’d offer 1,000 different flavors of ice cream. Unfortunately, retail doesn’t work that way, so we have to settle for a “more reasonable” amount of flavors. Here’s what you can find on your favorite grocery’s shelves in 2018.

Aztec Chocolate Ice Cream - High Road

Chocolate's origins are fascinating, with the earliest chocolate drinkers blending an energetic beverage of cacao, cinnamon, almonds, and chiles, among other ingredients. The Spaniards later added sugar, leading to a global obsession with one of the world's favorite flavors. We believe chocolate deserves a little spice.

 

Bourbon Burnt Sugar Ice Cream

This is the flavor we're most proud to produce, and will never let it go. We're the original producers of a real-deal Bourbon ice cream, and the story goes like this: the first ever production day, one of our co-founders reminded our chef that we were to be positioned next to a bourbon company at a major food festival in metro-Atlanta, run by the Les Dames Escoffier. It was 2AM. The chef's feet were so tired, he committed to making the flavor, but only if the ingredients were in reach. In front of the chef were the following items: Bourbon Vanilla, Bourbon Whiskey, Muddy Pond Sorghum, Caribbean "Burnt Sugar" Syrup, and French Sea Salt. 20 minutes later, a classic was born, one that is definitive of all things High Road.
